Vegan Queso Dip




Ingredients:


  • 1 cup raw cashew nuts

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast

  • 2 TBSP hot sauce

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp cumin














Instructions:

Pour hot boiled water over cashews and let soak for 30 minutes. Afterwards, drain and rinse cashew nuts. Add cashews, 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup nutritional yeast, hot sauce and other seasonings to a high-speed blender and mix until smooth and creamy. Remove from blender and if desired may warm on stovetop. Serve with favorite chips and enjoy!


May add chopped jalapenos for an extra spicy kick
